Job description
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Order and install replacement parts as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Travel to various healthcare facilities in the United States.
- Associate’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and regulatory requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
