Job description

Working closely with the Creative Director and marketing team, the Senior Multimedia Specialist leads multimedia projects from concept through final production while ensuring all creative assets reflect the University's brand standards, accessibility requirements, and strategic messaging. The position also serves as a subject matter expert in emerging multimedia technologies, including AI-assisted creative tools, digital asset management, and evolving visual storytelling techniques.

Bachelor's Degree in film, media, production, photography, communications or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in video production, photography and digital storytelling.

  • Lead the development of high-quality multimedia content, including videography, motion graphics, drone footage (when applicable), graphics, podcasts, and other digital storytelling assets.
  • Develop compelling visual stories that support enrollment marketing, institutional branding, fundraising, research, academic programs, and university initiatives.
  • Ensure all multimedia content aligns with university brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and strategic messaging.
  • Lead all phases of multimedia production, including concept development, storyboarding, planning, filming, photography, lighting, audio capture, editing, color correction, animation, and post-production.
  • Direct and execute location and studio photo and video shoots while maintaining high production standards.
  • Produce multimedia assets optimized for web, social media, digital advertising, email marketing, presentations, broadcast, and print.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional creative quality.
  • Assist in managing and organizing the University's multimedia asset library, including photography, video, graphics, metadata, and archival systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
