Salary: $24.04 per hour

TITLE:Â Bilingual Tutor
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  Bachelor's Degree
2.  Direct classroom experience with children, Pre-K to Twelve
3.  Fluent in English and Spanish languages, both written and oral, preferred but not required
REPORTS TO:Â Building principal and/or K-12 Supervisor of World Languages, Gifted & Talented, ESL and Bilingual Programs
JOB GOAL:Â Provides support to specialized area of instruction as specified in the State of Connecticut Priority School District Grant
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides assistance in basic skills.
- Tutors small group instruction.
- Monitors homework centers.
- Reinforces study and organizational skills.
- Interacts with parents, teachers and other support staff.
- Assists with conflict resolution and peer mediation sessions.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor of ESL/Bilingual or the building principal.
