Job Highlights
  • Job Type: Part-time

  • Schedule: Flexible (primarily weekday afternoons & evenings, plus optional weekends)

  • Pay: Competitive hourly rate

  • Location: In-home sessions (clients matched within 30 minutes of your location)

  • Caseload: Build gradually to fit your availability

Responsibilities
  • Provide playful, 1:1 DIRFloortime therapy to autistic children

  • Build strong, trusting relationships through emotionally attuned play

  • Collect light session data using your phone or tablet

  • Collaborate with and receive ongoing support from credentialed supervisors

Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to engage physically with children (e.g., playing on the floor)

  • Working phone or tablet to collect session data

  • Ability to pass Federal and State background checks

  • Valid form of ID

  • Bilingual (Spanish-English)

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, psychology, child development, etc.)

  • Preferred: Experience with the DIRFloortime® model

Experience (1+ year required)
  • Childcare (babysitting, daycare, preschool teacher, assistant teacher)

  • Special education (educational settings, special needs)

  • Developmental intervention (early intervention)

  • Autism interventions (RBT/Behavioral technician, autism support specialist, ABA therapist, other DIRFloortime experience

Schedule
  • We ask each employee and family to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with sessions typically lasting 2–3 hours per day.

  • Most sessions take place after school (between 3–8 PM on weekdays) and anytime on weekends.
