Job description

Are you ready to join a leading GC in the multi family space? Our client has been delivering award-winning communities for more than 30 years. They are well established and have construction projects in 30+ States. Portfolio includes multifamily, mixed use, commercial, hospitality, and senior living assistance facilities. Current openings are permanent and in the VA, MD, & DC area.


Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of professional construction experience
  • Prior experience in multifamily or commercial construction is preferred
  • Prior experience with ground‑up multifamily, mixed‑use, or large residential projects
  • Proven working knowledge of construction sequencing, building systems, and finishes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with trade partners
  • Ability to work with ProCore or BlueBeam
  • A degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline is preferred but not required


Responsibilities

  • Support the Superintendent with daily on‑site management of multifamily projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors across framing, MEP, finishes, and exterior scopes
  • Assist with short‑term planning, look‑ahead schedules, and daily work plans
  • Enforce site safety standards and participate in safety meetings and inspections
  • Monitor quality control to ensure work meets drawings, specs, and company standards
  • Track progress, assist with punch lists, and help manage unit turnovers
  • Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, and site logistics
  • Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and photo logs
  • Assist with the preconstruction surveys
