What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a Multicultural Church Strategist to join our Church Relations- OCC Domestic team in Boone, NC; Charlotte, NC; Fullerton, CA; Flowery Branch, GA; Aurora, IL. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Multicultural Church Strategist you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Advance the mission of Samaritan's Purse by prayerfully cultivating relationships with Korean American churches and community groups to increase participation and shoebox gifts, building trusted partnerships that extend throughout the year.
  • Research, develop, and maintain a strategic network of Korean American church and community contacts, creating ongoing opportunities to engage, present, encourage retention, and expand local ministry involvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, Field staff, and volunteers to develop relevant outreach and marketing resources for Korean-speaking audiences and other multicultural communities, strengthening participation at local and regional levels.
  • Steward outreach and promotional budgets responsibly, using resources strategically to support ministry growth among Korean-speaking and other non-English-speaking communities.
  • Serve as needed in an Operations Center for at least one week during the November/December shoebox processing season, including temporary relocation to a Processing Center city, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to serve wherever ministry needs arise.
  • Other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications?
Serve with Excellence
As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A) in Marketing and/or Communications or related field from a four-year college or university; and five (5) to ten (10) years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bilingual and fluent in both Korean and English (Required)
  • Proven self-starter with demonstrated initiative
  • Ability to multiple task and priorities, both independently and in a team environment
  • Highly effective communications skills across organizational and cultural lines
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies(required); if not completed, an opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.
