Job description

Supports the organization and optimization of overall production activities for injection ‑ molded polymer components and automotive lighting assemblies based on customer demand. Assists in meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements by coordinating resources and ensuring effective deployment across molding, assembly, and related operations. Contributes to achieving budget and output targets while supporting accountability for production performance.

Helps develop and mentor a flexible, motivated team and ensures adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Assists in establishing and maintaining best practices, standard procedures, and consistent operating methods. Drives continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by identifying deficiencies and recommending improvements in training, processes, equipment, and working practices.

Supports innovation initiatives and effective 4M management. Facilitates cross ‑ functional communication to maintain smooth operations in a multicultural, global supplier environment. Provides daily updates and assists with periodic performance reviews for upper management regarding production status and issues.

• Support daily production operations for injection‑molded polymer components and automotive lighting assemblies to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. • Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating production activities based on customer demand and production schedules. • Monitor workflow across molding, assembly, and material handling areas; identify bottlenecks and support corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and promote safe work practices throughout the department. • Support employee relations by assisting with coaching, training, onboarding, and developing team members to build a flexible, capable workforce. • Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures, work instructions, and company policies.

• Track and report key performance indicators (UPH, scrap, PPM, downtime, labor utilization) and provide daily updates to upper management. • Assist in troubleshooting molding and assembly issues, including equipment, material, and process‑related problems. • Participate in root‑cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why and 8D, and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements aligned with modern manufacturing principles. • Support documentation development and maintenance, including Work Instructions, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process standards with cross‑functional teams. • Coordinate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and materials teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely issue resolution.

• Assist in monitoring operating costs, labor planning, and resource allocation to support budget and output targets. • Maintain effective communication within the department and across cross‑functional teams in a multicultural, global supplier environment. • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and organizational goals.
