Job description

Job Title: Multicraft Maintenance Technician

Location: Green Cove Springs FL, 32043 (Will have to travel to Jacksonville plant once or twice a month using company truck in business hours / no extra hours)
Working Schedule & Shift: M-Friday 5am – 3:30pm with Saturdays possibly
Employment Type: Full Time
 
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Repairs, maintains, replaces, installs and tests electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment.
  • Inspects equipment and diagnoses trouble or malfunctions Analyzes equipment failures, determines cause and makes necessary adjustments.
  • Installs power, lighting and control circuits and conduit.
  • Works from blueprints, drawings, sketches or layouts.
  • Selects appropriate materials and operates equipment to complete work, including electrical hand tools and voltage or ampere measuring devices.
 
Required Experience:
  • Requires formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience
  • Stable work history
 
Physical Abilities and Requirements
  • Visual and Hearing: Must be able to see with corrective eye wear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance, wearing hearing protection.
  • Lifting-must be able to lift 0-50 lbs and/or greater than 50 lbs with assistance, push up to 300 lbs
  • Standing, walking; repetitive movement; bending or twisting; exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable; exposure to contaminants and hazardous equipment; exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings; meeting strict deadlines; responsibility for the health and safety of others; and, wearing of protective or safety equipment.
  • Must be able to pass basic Reading and Math Test, if required.
  • Must be able to meet attendance standards.
  • Good attention to detail.
