Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each day.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or asset protection concerns, assisting with access control, suspicious activity reporting, and customer assistance when needed.
  • Support store operations during opening, closing, deliveries, and/or high-volume periods by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
