Join your locally owned Great Clips salon organization in a leadership role that blends hands-on salon management with multi-salon oversight. As an Area Manager, you'll directly manage one salon while also supporting and coaching a team of Salon Managers across a small group of additional locations.

This role is ideal for an experienced salon or multi-unit leader who enjoys developing managers, maintaining strong brand standards, and driving consistent performance across teams.

Area Manager position. Great Atmosphere! 401(k), Paid Sick Leave for all employees. Medical, Dental, Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay! Hourly wages based on the number of salons you oversee. Monthly bonus on all salons you oversee! Starting pay $24.50 per hour. Productivity, Retail Commission, Customer Return Bonuses and GREAT Tips (stylists average between $6-18/hour in tips & bonuses)! Be a part of a GREAT Franchise! (Must have a valid WA State Cosmetology or barber's license.) Previous Management experience a must. Previous Multi-Unit experience a plus.

To succeed as an Area Manager in a Great Clips salon organization, you'll need:

• Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience
• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• The desire and ability to manage a salon's daily operations while motivating and supporting other Salon Managers
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement plans
• Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area
• Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges
