The Construction Manager plans, supervises and coordinates all tasks in the building process, ensuring the project gets completed on time and within budget. Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Plan and monitor the daily activities of trade partners to ensure they align with the project schedule and scope of work. Inspect the quality of their work and approve payments once the tasks are satisfactorily completed.

  • Maintain the construction administration software for the project including Procore, BuildPro or other software utilized. Ensure the construction progress and home completion dates are accurately reflected in the schedule.

  • Maintain a current working knowledge of all applicable building codes.

  • Actively communicate with trade partners on all OSHA regulations, ensure compliance with Lennar's safety program and maintain all records regarding safety and compliance. Conduct regular safety meetings with trade partners and Lennar associates.

  • Ensure that all necessary building inspections are conducted, including securing final occupancy certificates, and keep associated documentation.

  • Inspect, schedule, and maintain records as it pertains to Lennar's Stormwater Prevention Plan and environmental guidelines.

  • Secure Lennar property and protect from weather, theft, vandalism and other damage.

  • Offer trade partner feedback to division leadership concerning quality, punctuality, and communication. Help in cultivating and sustaining a reliable base of trade partners.

  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to enhance budgets, address cost variances, and plan system improvements.

  • Maintain accurate records of all job changes, including engineering reports, change orders, and purchase orders.

  • Engage with customers and fellow Lennar associates as required, including providing updates, scheduling walks or orientations, obtaining signoffs, and attending other necessary meetings.

  • Responsible for delivering a "Zero Defect" home.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in project/construction management in multi-family construction required.

  • Strong knowledge of multi-family construction.

  • Ability to read, understand, and implement adjustments to commercial architectural and structural blueprints, off-site improvement plans and soils reports.

  • Knowledge of relevant commercial building codes and all scopes of work.

  • Expertise in BuildPro, Hyphen, and Procore is preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and Project.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $80,741.50 - $120,330, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
