Commercial Construction Maintenance Technician – Direct Multi-Trade Facility Refurbishment and Structural Repairs


Job Overview

  • Company: Paramount Contracting Inc.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour (Depending on experience plus Overtime).
  • Location: Las Vegas, NV.
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (Occasional overtime or weekend work based on project needs).
  • Project Scope: Commercial Construction and Maintenance for Storage Facilities.
  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.


The Opportunity

You will take charge of diverse structural modifications, multi-trade asset repairs, and preventative facility maintenance across a premier commercial portfolio. This role provides the field independence to troubleshoot physical building systems while deploying advanced methods in carpentry, drywall, finish trades and low voltage. You will directly protect asset valuations and optimize operational safety for high-capacity commercial storage properties. Good for candidates who are open to exploring new trades 


How You Will Make An Impact

  • Execute a wide range of sophisticated construction tasks encompassing framing, drywall finishing, industrial painting, and flooring.
  • Interpret architectural blueprints, building layouts, and technical design documents to map asset repairs with high accuracy.
  • Direct job site preparation, precise space layout planning, and heavy structural material handling protocols.
  • Install or repair critical structural elements while verifying all field assemblies comply with regional building codes.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical or structural defects and engineer real-time remediation solutions on active jobsites.
  • Coordinate with centralized project managers and external sub-trades to ensure fluid, uninterrupted construction workflows.
  • Manage personal tools and industrial machinery to preserve an immaculate, highly organized, and OSHA-compliant site.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience executing multi-trade work within commercial construction zones.
  • Experience across multiple trades such as finish carpentry, drywall installation, corporate flooring layouts, technical hardware and Low voltage/Electrical knowledge
  • Solid technical capability to read, evaluate, and extract exact measurements from engineering plans and blueprints.
  • Active and valid driver's license paired with a demonstrated history of safe, responsible personal transit.
  • Highly disciplined work ethic with the capability to operate independently or guide collaborative field crews.
  • Open to exploring new trades 


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior dedicated construction or preventative maintenance experience working within large-scale commercial storage facilities.
  • Low voltage knowledge
  • Electrical Knowledge
  • Active safety credentials including an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Basic field troubleshooting knowledge of light commercial electrical components or facility plumbing networks.
