Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for aTechnologyManager, IT VendorManagement located in Raritan, New Jersey, West Chester, Pennsylvania, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Raynham, Massachusetts, Warsaw, Indiana.

This roleis responsible forleading strategic IT vendor relationships that support global technology services across DePuy Synthes. TheTechnologyManager, IT VendorMgmtdrives value, performance, risk management, and continuous improvement across a complex vendor ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and financialobjectives. This role has a direct impact on service quality, cost optimization, and the scalability of IT services supporting a global medical technology organization, and reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the endtoend management of strategic IT vendors, including onboarding, performance management, renewals, and exits, to ensure reliable and costeffective technology services.

  • Establish and govern vendor performance through SLAs, KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews, driving accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with IT service owners, sourcing, procurement, finance, and legal teams to align vendor strategies with business and technology roadmaps.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate vendorrelated risks, including operational, financial, cybersecurity, and compliance risks, in alignment with enterprise policies.

  • Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions tooptimizecost, value, and service outcomes across the vendor portfolio.

  • Drive standardization of vendor management processes, tools, and reporting across Technology Services.

  • Lead and develop vendor management team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

  • Provideexecutivelevel insights and reporting on vendor performance, risks, and financials to IT and business leadership.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, ora relatedfield (required).

  • Master's degree or MBA (preferred).

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in IT, vendor management, sourcing, or technology services, withdemonstratedaccountability for vendor performance and outcomes.

  • Proven experience managing strategic IT vendors in a global or matrixed enterprise environment.

  • Strong understanding of IT service delivery models, including managed services, cloud, infrastructure, and application services.

  • Experience working with IT service management frameworks, metrics, and performance reporting (e.g., ITSM concepts, SLAs, KPIs).

  • Ability to assess vendor technology capabilities, security posture, and operational resilience in partnership with technical teams.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting contract negotiations, cost optimization, and value realization.

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear vendor expectations and measurable outcomes.

  • Demonstratedpeopleleadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across IT, business, and external partners.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences.

  • Experience working with global sourcing models and vendors across multiple geographies.

  • Familiarity withfinancial managementof IT services, including budgeting and chargeback/showbackmodels.

  • Experience driving vendor consolidation or transformation initiatives.
