Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Multi-Cloud DevOps Engineer to support clients in modernizing their IT infrastructures. The role involves managing server configurations and utilizing cloud service providers to deliver effective solutions for clients' missions.
Responsibilities:
• set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks
• support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures
• work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions
• apply skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks
• use cloud service providers to further clients’ meaningful missions
• help develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for crucial server and network components
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience with Cloud, DevOps, or system administration
• 2+ years of experience with AWS such as EC2, Lambda, SQS, or SNS
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform
• 2+ years of experience with Configuration as Code such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• 2+ years of experience creating CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins
• 2+ years of experience with Linux Administration and Windows Administration
• 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• 2+ years of experience using task management software such as Jira
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED
Preferred:
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience with Azure
• Experience managing Oracle Database instances
• Experience with on-premise server management
• Experience with VMWare
