Job description

We are seeking a skilled Senior NetSuite Engineer to design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within the NetSuite ERP platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SuiteScript, integrations, and ERP customization, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. 


Full Time 
Location: Onsite – Chesterfield, Mo. 

What You’ll be Doing 

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations within NetSuite using SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.x  
  • Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems using SuiteTalk, REST, and SOAP APIs  
  • Develop and customize saved searches, workflows, dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support business visibility and efficiency  
  • Create and maintain custom records, fields, forms, roles, and permissions within the NetSuite environment  
  • Develop RESTlets, Suitelets, Map/Reduce scripts, and scheduled scripts to support automation and business process improvements  
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver enhancements aligned with business needs  
  • Support ERP optimization efforts across modules such as Financials, Order Management, Inventory, and related functional areas  
  • Assist with data migration, CSV imports, validation, and ongoing system maintenance  
  • Troubleshoot system issues, debug scripts and integrations, and implement sustainable resolutions  
  • Maintain clear documentation for customizations, integrations, configurations, and development standards  
  • Ensure system security, compliance, and development best practices are consistently followed  

What We Need 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience  
  • 3+ years of NetSuite development experience in a business or consulting environment  
  • Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x  
  • Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)  
  • Experience integrating NetSuite with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs  
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP modules, including Financials, Order Management, and Inventory  
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript and related web technologies  
  • Experience with data migration, CSV imports, and system configuration support  
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders  
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or SuiteCloud Developer  
  • Experience with middleware platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, or MuleSoft  
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL  
  • Experience developing Advanced PDF/HTML templates
