Job description

Job Title : MuleSoft Lead Developer

Location : San Diego CA (Onsite)

No Remote Option

Job Type : Contract Role

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Deliver complex MuleSoft integration solutions using Mule 4 and CloudHub (CloudHub 1.0 and 2.0 migration)
  • Collaborate with architects to implement designs and provide strong technical analysis and problem-solving.
  • Design and implement API-led connectivity and microservices-based reusable integration solutions.
  • Build and manage secure APIs, including identity and access integrations (primarily using Okta).
  • Oversee development and deployment pipelines using Bitbucket, Git, and Bamboo; experience with GitHub and Git Actions preferred.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for APIs.
  • Drive best practices for REST API design principles and high-performance API development.
  • Work extensively with Anypoint Platform components: API Manager, CloudHub, Anypoint Monitoring, Exchange, Design Center, and Anypoint MQ.
  • Experience with Databricks, Data Lake, and large-scale data integrations.
  • Perform regular MuleSoft platform maintenance activities such as Mule runtime upgrades and migrations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of REST API design principles, MuleSoft API-led architecture, microservices, and secure integration practices.
  • Knowledge of Graph QL and MCP is plus.
