Job description

The Information Technology department is eager to announce a vacancy for a MuleSoft Developer position. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in reinforcing our expansive Application Development initiatives, emphasizing API-led integration using the MuleSoft platform. Given our consistent roll-out of application updates, this position requires a commitment to efficient and high-quality delivery for our end-users.
Scope of Responsabilites
  • Develop, design, and manage APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft platform.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the MuleSoft Anypoint platform.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from design to deployment.
  • Implement APIs as per the design specification.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Optimize the application for maximum speed, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of applications.
  • Conduct unit and functional testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of integrations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MuleSoft integration trends and suggest new features to improve system functionality.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and resolving bugs and performance issues.
  • Document development processes, including the creation of flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments.

Required Education, Training & Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • 5 years of related professional experience or;
  • A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Proven hands-on experience in MuleSoft development, including designing, building, and managing APIs and integrations.
  • Knowledge of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform, including design patterns, MuleSoft API-led connectivity, and error handling.
  • Proficiency in software development languages and tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their application in MuleSoft projects.
  • Experience with tools and technologies related to integration, such as REST API, Web Services, XML, and JSON.
  • Understanding of testing methodologies and their application in software development.
  • Deep understanding of the MuleSoft platform, its capabilities, and best practices.

Licensure and/or Certifcation Required
MuleSoft Developer certification preferred
