As an API Sr. Developer you will be responsible for collaborating with the various Visual Integrator business areas to design and build sustainable) solutions to meet business needs and add significant business value. Help customers rapidly transforming into the Digital era, driving an API led culture with real-time integration capabilities. You will execute the build, test and deployment of the solution to ensure it meets design specification and ultimately the business requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and supporting Enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements using MuleSoft

Works with Delivery, Enterprise Architecture (EA) and business area teams to build detailed technical design and specification documents, to meet business needs for large complex projects, considering capabilities, risks, and system dependencies

Guides/Executes the build, test and deployment of full lifecycle solutions - for Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) & Data Analytics (data integration) solutions

Contribute subject matter expertise to effort estimation

Articulate recommendations through compelling presentations and architectural blueprint documents to a variety of audiences, including client Business management and experienced IT architects on regards to integration layer

Analyzes the current integration architecture to identify weaknesses and support improvement opportunities

Champion efforts to ensure appropriate development best practices

Work on multiple concurrent projects, meet business expectations, influence outcomes and maintain stated timelines

Mentor junior developers to grow skills in applying Visual Integrator's best practices and standards

BA/BS Degree in IT, MIS or business related functional discipline

5+ years of hands on Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Data Analytics (integration) architectures, integration patterns and best practices

Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand key business processes and related issues

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong self-leadership and ability to work independently and manage conflict

Ability to develop successful relationships with external and internal partners

3+ years experience providing technical solutions development for on-premise and SaaS applications using JEE and/or JSE frameworks

Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, WS-*, SOA integration, API Management technologies and standards

Knowledge of Open Source architectures and/or past contributions to open source projects

Design, development and operations experience with highly-available, scalable, and fault tolerant systems

Experience designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML and REST based APIs

Experience profiling and troubleshooting Java application code

Interface architecture knowledge with one or more on-premise / SaaS packaged solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, WorkDay, etc.)

Strong Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) skills delivering in waterfall, scrum, agile, and other methodologies
