Position Overview:
We are currently seeking dependable and motivated Construction Laborers to support transportation, commercial roadway, and building maintenance projects for the MTA in Baltimore. Candidates should have experience in asphalt and concrete work, along with general building maintenance skills. This position requires individuals who are safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.


Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule: MondayFriday | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Regular overtime


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform concrete installation, repair, finishing, and patchwork
  • Assist with asphalt paving, roadway maintenance, and repairs
  • Support transportation and commercial construction projects
  • Perform general building maintenance and repair duties
  • Prepare and maintain job sites, equipment, and materials
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials
  • Follow all MTA safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and professionally
  • Work overtime as needed to meet project demands


Qualifications:

  • Experience in concrete, asphalt, roadway, or commercial construction preferred
  • Building maintenance experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor daily
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid drivers license preferred


Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, walking, and manual labor
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
