Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Youngstown / Alliance, OH
Job Type:โ€ฏFull-Time / Part-Time
Shifts:โ€ฏDays (Mon-Fri) / Flexible
Healthcare Setting:โ€ฏLong-Term Care / Assisted Living Facilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assess patients' mental and physical status
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Consult with supervising psychiatrists as needed
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing - Psychiatric/Mental Health (MSN-PMHNP).
Active PMHNP license in the state of Ohio.
DEA license with authority to prescribe psychotropic medications.
Experience working with geriatric or subacute populations preferred.
