Job description

Duties:
  • Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing programs and make necessary adjustments to improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure effective communication between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Schedule and maintain schedule for all Nursing staff, be on-call in case of nursing staff does not show for work.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technologies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is a must.
  • Valid state nursing license.
  • Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or similar leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
