Familiarity with CRM systems, medical literature databases, and compliance regulations is typically required. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills help MSLs effectively convey complex scientific information and build trusted partnerships. These competencies are crucial for ensuring accurate scientific exchange and fostering collaboration between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals.

What are MSDs (musculoskeletal disorders) and how do they relate to workplace safety?

MSDs, or Musculoskeletal Disorders, refer to injuries or disorders that affect the human body's movement or musculoskeletal system, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, discs, and blood vessels. In the context of the workplace, MSDs are often caused by repetitive motion, overexertion, or prolonged awkward positions, and can impact productivity and employee well-being. Employers play a key role in preventing MSDs by implementing ergonomic solutions, providing proper training, and encouraging safe work practices.
