We are looking for our next Technical Sales and Customer Specialist within our Biopharmaceutical Team. This role sits at the intersection of science and business, supporting biopharma customers from early development through commercialization. The primary purpose of this role is to enable customer success by translating complex technical challenges into practical, scalable solutions through highquality technical support with Roquette's portfolio for biologics and parenteral drug product applications. This role serves as a critical technical interface and scientific partner between customers and internal stakeholders, including R&D, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Quality, and Regulatory teams, ensuring that opportunities are technically sound, commercially viable, and executed effectively.

This position is located in Wilmington, DE or Springhouse, PA.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $122,000 - $166,000. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting activities for biologics and injectable applications across the sale cycle
  • Provide technical support to biopharma customers, enabling development and implementation of Roquette solutions at strategic and key accounts
  • Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with customer R&D, formulation, process teams, to understand development challenges and bottlenecks, and to define solution strategies
  • Guide customers in selection, evaluation, and implementation of Roquette portfolio
  • Identify, evaluate, and help develop new commercial opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal technical teams to ensure alignment and timely communication and delivery of solutions and resolutions
  • Capture and communicate customer feedback and unmet needs to inform product development and application strategy
  • Design, execute, and publish studies evaluating new and existing products in collaboration with crossfunctional business unit teams
  • Contribute to the development of technical marketing materials, including white papers, case studies, technical presentations, and data packages that support commercial activities.
  • Deliver technical presentation and training to internal audiences
  • Represent Roquette at scientific conferences, trade shows, and industry forums
  • Stay current with trends in biologics, drug development, manufacturing technologies, and regulatory requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Education: Advance degree (Ph.D., MSc) in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, or related life sciences discipline
  • Experience: 3-7 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships and work effectively in cross-functional teams
    • Entrepreneurial mind set with a customer-centric, proactive approach and resilience in the face of challenges
    • Fluency in English
