Location: Phoenix, AZ (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Oracle DBA & PostgreSQL Engineer to join the Database Infrastructure Operations team.
This team is responsible for building and maintaining the physical infrastructure that supports critical database systems, including installation, configuration, application connectivity, and ensuring high availability.
You’ll work in a collaborative environment where cross-learning is encouraged, supporting a wide range of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and more.
Key Responsibilities
•Install, configure, and support Oracle and PostgreSQL databases in production, staging, and development environments.
•Manage database infrastructure, including architecture design, upgrades, patching, backups, recovery, and security.
•Configure database parameters, perform performance tuning, and monitor database health.
•Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
•Manage user access, roles, and privileges.
•Perform grid and database patching across Oracle versions (12c, 19c, 23AI).
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application connectivity and platform reliability.
•Work with Linux environments and automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
Required Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement).
•Experience: 3–9 years in database administration, with strong expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL.
•Hands-on experience with:
•Oracle RAC, Data Guard, OEM, GoldenGate, ASM
•Exadata and engineered systems
