Job description

Job Title: Computer Science, FT Faculty-CFS Professional (2 positions)

Posting End Date:October 5, 2026

Position Start Date:August 2027

Required Degree:

Ph.D. in computer science or a related field, or MS in computer a science/closely related field.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:
Candidates without a Ph.D. should have 10 years or more of experience in a leadership or advanced technical role in software engineering or a related field. This includes but is not limited to: Principal Engineer, Architect, Chief Technology Officer, or Founder. Experience with modern AI-based software engineering methodologies is strongly preferred.

Duties/Expectations:

Primary duty is to teach undergraduate classes. Duties also include creating experiential learning opportunities including capstone projects. Innovate in curriculum and pedagogy. Lead department efforts to educate undergraduates in CS.
