Job Summary
Provides support to the Heritage, Culture & the Arts Division by delivering excellent customer service to rental clients administratively as well as during private rental events. Provides event oversight for daytime and nighttime event rentals. Provides administrative support to Rental Coordinator on an as needed basis. Supports the set-up, execution, oversight, and tear-down of festivals, amphitheater programs, community events as available.

Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
Rental Events
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
- Make situational decisions based on sound judgment during scheduled shifts.
- Confirm that requested supplies and equipment are available for rentals as assigned.
- Set up signs, tables and chairs for rentals and other meetings or events on an as needed basis. Serves as the main point of contact for nighttime and weekend rentals as assigned.
- Responds to the shifting needs and priorities of the clients.
- Cares for the historic structures and rental spaces.
- Frequently monitor for newly added events and update availability via spreadsheet.
- Responds within 24 hours to text message correspondence from Rental and Community Events Coordinators.
Community Events
- Set-up and strike/tear-down equipment including but not limited to tables, chairs, tents, temporary event fencing, trash cans, signage, and other supplies for the implementation of community events.
- Serves as an on-site support staff person in the coordination of community events. Anticipates event operational needs and responds to requests and inquiries of event exhibitors, vendors, contractors, and suppliers as directed or appropriate.
Rental Program Administration
- Special administrative projects as assigned.
- Schedule and conduct tours for prospective clients.
- Process rental and community events payments in CivicRec.
- Routinely respond to programmatic email as needed.
- Ordering marketing material reprints as needed.

Supervision Received
Receives direct supervision from the Rental and Community Events Coordinators.
Essential Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma
Criminal background check is required.
Experience
Customer service.
Working with equipment set up and take down or
Event production or
Hotel/banquet set-up experience.

- Work involves moving about various facilities as well as climbing on ladders, bending and reaching to retrieve and move items and perform tasks. Bending, kneeling, stooping and moving about from location to location. Drives golf cart around sites.
