Technical Project Manager I

Technical Project Manager I Duration: 12 Months Location: Remote

Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager I is expected to have a good understanding of consumer electronics, biocompatibility, analytical testing, demonstrated experience in program management and has worked in a collaborative cross functional, fast paced environment. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, engaging with cross functional partners, and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during product development process, clear communication to peers and SME's and help build processes and specifications. Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager I will need the following skillsets.

  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Partner with cross functional team members, and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination and coordinate testing throughout product development process
  • Clear and effective communication (including presentations, document traceability etc.) of Biocompatibility goals and findings with cross functional team and leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management and basic knowledge of Biocompatibility review
  • Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessment and setup a process to track and communicate efficiently
  • Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment
  • Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross functional teams towards building workflows, processes and SOP's

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
  • 2 years of project management in a corporate setting
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully and ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively
  • Basic understanding of biocompatibility and analytical chemistry
  • Ability to work in fast paced, collaborative, cross functional environment
  • Be a team player. Have strong analytical skills and ability to think outside of the box
  • Must have program management, clear communication, and consumer electronics experience
  • Experience with biocomp and customer safety

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in consumer electronics industry
  • Good understanding program development checkpoints must have science and engineering background (Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering or related fields)
