JOB SUMMARY

MRO Crib attendant; must be flexible, self-starting Team Player. This individual, as part of the MRO Team, will insure that all daily duties assigned are completed to schedule as directed by the MRO/Purchasing team. Also, during non-active times, will assist and complete daily tasks and expectations as directed by their manager and this Job Description.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Responsible for adhering to all Gestamp Employee Policies especially Associates Responsibilities on Attendance/Punctuality and Associate Conduct. Scheduled hours of work will be posted for all Associates.
  2. Responsible for clocking in and out for start and end of shift. Additionally, when the associate leaves facility property for any reason
  3. Required to follow all scheduled breaks and lunch times. Required to wear approved uniforms and attire
  4. Prepare and supply material to support Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) within the MRO crib area
  5. Manage and lead item adds, material changes and obsoleting material processes to include taking photos, attaching in SAP, and assigning and unassigning bin locations as needed.
  6. Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments. Confer and correspond with Buyer and/or vendors to rectify any problems.
  7. Required to receive in and process into Gestamp systems all shipments and all goods received at McCalla Plant I & II.
  8. Prepare goods for storage and maintain accurate inventory counts for all stock and non-stock material, using the appropriate SAP transactions.
  9. Perform all aspects of Reservations, which include but not limited to running reports, and issuing.
  10. Work with MRO Crib Buyer and purchasing team on proper procurement and expediting product
  11. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP - willing to learn other programs.
  12. Track and dispose of material with expired shelf life and non-moving material physically and in SAP
  13. Perform daily cycle counting, including necessary SAP transactions to reconcile discrepancies.
  14. Perform root cause analysis of inventory inaccuracies and follow standard practices and guidelines for issue resolution and material's management.
  15. Provide training to personnel as specified in the departmental training matrix.
  16. Facilitate the Repair process of capital assets needing repair.
  17. Run weekly reports for Stock Out material in the MRO Crib and follow-up on delinquent items
  18. Attend the internal customer at the MRO window issuing materials as needed using the SAP system software.
  19. Required to perform daily 5S organization and cleaning duties as assigned by your manager.
  20. Operate a forklift to move and organize inventory as necessary. Must be Gestamp certified.
  21. Ability to work any shift and overtime as required including weekends as required -sometimes with short notice.
  22. Must be a team player helping to accentuate a positive & productive environment within the department and with all other departments.
  23. Perform special projects as required and maintain on the job flexibility by providing support in materials and other production/non-production related areas, stock audits, and system accuracy.
  24. Must have excellent customer service skills, to serve our internal customer politely and expediently.
  25. Responsible for cleaning up after one's self when generating trash in the course of completing assigned daily tasks
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  1. High School Diploma/GED and 5 years manufacturing experience in material handling and/or warehousing
  2. Must have prior fork-lift/material handling experience and be a Gestamp certified fork-lift Operator
  3. Experience using SAP for goods receiving and inventory management strongly preferred 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  1. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP
  2. Strong knowledge of supply chain management and material flow
  3. Strong PC knowledge and the ability to efficiently operate computer terminals and barcode scanning devices
  4. Required to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
  5. Must demonstrate strong math and reading skills.
  6. Must be able to handle the physical demands of the shipping and receiving Operations.
  7. Must have an excellent safety, attendance and performance record.
  8. Must have strong work ethic with a drive for excellence.
