About Fairfax Radiology Centers
Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) - the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia - is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Reston / Herndon.
This is a qualified full-time, benefited position offering a unique weekday schedule with built-in work-life balance. You'll work four evening shifts each week - giving you a 3-day weekend every weekend.
At FRC, you'll work with advanced GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI systems while delivering high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in a collaborative outpatient environment.

What You'll Do
As an MRI Technologist, you will:
  • Perform a variety of routine and specialty MRI exams, including neurograms and breast MRI
  • Operate advanced GE 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to deliver efficient, high-quality diagnostic services
  • Maintain accurate documentation in PACS/RIS systems
What You'll Bring
  • 6+ months of MRI experience or completion of a formal MRI training program
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R]) or MRI, or ARMRIT certification
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong communication and patient-care skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment
