Travel MRI Technologist (MR) - Acute Care

Please note: 2 years of magnetic resonance imaging experience within the last 5 years

MR Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented MRI Technologist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in San Diego, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your magnetic resonance imaging skills while advancing your career as an MRI Tech. The travel assignment will entail operating sophisticated medical imaging equipment. You care about patients and take responsibility for their safety and mental and physical comfort. You will prepare and position patients for capture of diagnostic images, operate the MRI machine, and provide clear images to physician.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interpret physician instructions and explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures to patients.
  • Select software options and imaging parameters when adjusting an MRI machine.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, which may include injecting dyes, administering sedation, and maneuvering disabled patients.
Job Requirements:
  • Valid California state license - Registry by the California Radiologic Health Branch - Certificate
  • Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Current CPR/ BLS certification
  • 2 years of magnetic resonance imaging experience within the last 5 years
