Summary:

The MRI Coordinator performs diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with established clinical and safety standards. This role oversees and coordinates all workflow related to imaging patient care, including radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room operations, general clerical functions, physician support, patient transport, and other duties essential to efficient departmental operations. The Coordinator is also responsible for creating and maintaining staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage to support high-quality patient care. Additionally, this position maintains accurate records and documentation required for regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies, and inspections, ensuring full compliance with all applicable standards and guidelines.
