Job description

Plumbing & Drains Service Manager

Location: Denver Metro Area.
Schedule: Full-time, some evenings or weekends may be required depending on business needs, customer issues, or emergency situations.
Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 annual salary.


Mr. Rooter Plumbing is looking for an experienced Plumbing & Drains Service Manager to lead our plumbing and drain division. This position is responsible for managing our plumbing and drain teams, improving day-to-day operations, supporting technicians in the field, and helping drive quality, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone who understands plumbing service, drain cleaning, technician leadership, customer communication, and what it takes to run a high-performing service department. The ideal candidate should be organized, confident, calm under pressure, and able to balance customer satisfaction, technician support, and business performance.


Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the plumbing and drain division.
  • Managing, coaching, and supporting plumbing and drain technicians.
  • Helping technicians diagnose jobs, build options, and communicate clearly with customers.
  • Reviewing job performance, callbacks, revenue, close rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring jobs are completed safely, correctly, and efficiently.
  • Holding technicians accountable to company standards, processes, and expectations.
  • Assisting with scheduling, dispatch coordination, and manpower planning.
  • Helping train new and existing technicians on technical skills, customer service, and sales process.
  • Reviewing estimates, invoices, job notes, photos, and required documentation.
  • Using Service Titan to review job activity, technician performance, estimates, invoices, notes, photos, and reporting.
  • Supporting difficult customer situations and helping resolve issues professionally.
  • Working with leadership to improve department profitability and overall performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Helping create a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.


Qualifications

  • Strong background in residential and/or commercial plumbing service.
  • Experience managing plumbing technicians, drain technicians, or service teams preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of drain cleaning, sewer lines, water lines, water heaters, fixture repairs, and general service plumbing.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to review estimates, diagnose technical issues, and support technicians in the field.
  • Comfortable using service software, tablets, job notes, photos, and performance reporting.
  • Service Titan experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
  • Master Plumber License preferred but not required.
