Job description

The position of shop helper is based out of the Shelton Maintenance Shop. The Shop Helper is a position that will be used in many areas within the maintenance shop.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving and checking in freight
  • Inventory checks
  • Wash company vehicles and maintain building appearance
  • Parts pickup and delivery
  • Safety coordinator for department
  • General maintenance assistance
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Must be physically able to lift and handle sixty pounds.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have clean driving record.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
  • Must wear proper safety gear when necessary.
  • Must work well with other crew members
  • Must be capable of understanding and following instructions from the manager and being accountable to him/her for work.
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions at various times of the day and night.
  • Must be able to create work orders using Mpulse software.
