Job description

Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Full-Time | $50,000–$58,000 CAD | Kirkland, QC | In-Person

Fast-moving company. Growing team. A lot of hiring ahead.

Western Alliance Logistics is expanding across Montréal and Miami, and we're growing our Recruitment teams with it.

We’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the full hiring process and help us build strong teams across Sales, Logistics, Operations, and other key functions.

This isn't an administrative HR role. You'll be sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, building pipelines, attending career fairs, tracking recruitment performance and constantly looking for new ways to reach great people.

If you already have some recruitment experience and you're ready to take on more ownership, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Recruit and source candidates across roles and departments in Montréal and Miami
  • Review applications, conduct candidate screening calls and interviews, and coordinate the hiring process
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines while managing communication and ATS records
  • Track recruitment budgets, advertising spend and hiring metrics
  • Expand our recruiting reach through sourcing channels, university partnerships and career events

What We're Looking For

You must have:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment or a role involving direct responsibility for hiring
  • Hands-on experience screening candidates and conducting interviews
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Marketing or a related field
  • Strong English and French communication skills
  • Confidence communicating with candidates by phone, video and in person
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfort working with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Even better if you have:

  • Experience proactively sourcing candidates
  • Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter or an ATS
  • Experience recruiting for Sales or Logistics positions
  • Campus recruitment or career fair experience
  • Experience tracking recruitment metrics or budgets

We're looking for someone with ownership, urgency and resourcefulness. You like talking to people, you're naturally organized, you follow through, and when something isn't working, your instinct is to find another way.

Why WAL?

You'll be joining our Recruitment team while we're actively building and expanding it, giving you the opportunity to take on more ownership as you develop.

This role is designed to grow with you. As you develop the ability to independently own recruitment pipelines and hiring outcomes, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility and progress within our growing Talent Acquisition team.

We offer:

  • Group insurance and Employee Assistance Program
  • On-site gym and subsidized cafeteria
  • Employee events, wellness initiatives and team activities
  • Hands-on exposure to recruitment in Canada and the U.S.
  • Career development and internal growth opportunities

Our environment is social, collaborative and fast-paced. We value Growth, Respect, Integrity and Teamwork, and we're looking for people who want to grow with the company.

If you have a foundation in recruitment and you're ready for your next step in Talent Acquisition, apply today or reach out to our team directly talent@westernalliancelogistics.com.
