The Production Assistant (PA) plays a critical support role within the Features and Television Physical Production departments, working across projects to provide logistical, administrative, and on-the-ground assistance. This role requires a highly organized, team player with exceptional communication skills and the ability to be proactive.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for Production and Creative Executives during various stages of development, prep, and production.
  • Provide backup admin support for Marvel Studios' Executive Office as needed.
  • Arrange and set up meals for Productions. On occasion, will act as secondary backup for Executive Office meal arrangements.
  • Handle daily runs, such as the delivery of scripts to local cast and crew and managing swag inventory and distribution for Marvel Studios employees in the office.
  • Facilitate poster signings between Marvel employees and talent, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Organize and schedule conference room bookings and room setup for production-related meetings.
  • Accountable for expense & mileage reports, reconciling credit card statements and submitting expenses on a regular basis.
  • Provide additional support as needed for events such as Comic Con, Press Junkets, and D23.
  • Assist with ad-hoc Production needs, including onboarding new crew members, processing drive-on requests, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize while meeting strict deadlines
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality with cast, crew & executives you encounter
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasionally some weekends with short notice
  • Valid California driver's license and operating vehicle
  • Looking for someone with a great attitude, motivated, and with the desire to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous production assistant experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $43,000 to $55,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
