Description
Organization:
The Distribution Center Level 1 role is managed directly by Warehouse Management and involves performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping collectible toys. This is a non-exempt position that would go through a Staffing Agency (background and drug test required).
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform assigned warehouse tasks accurately, efficiently, and on time as directed by supervision. Maintain an organized work area and follow established warehouse procedures to support daily operations. Learn and follow company policies and guidelines, work as part of the Entertainment Earth team, and contribute positively to a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Functions:
• Communicate with supervisors about workload, priorities, and any equipment, system, or safety issues.
• Receiving: Help unload incoming shipments, check items for damage, and report any problems.
• Picking: Pick items accurately using system instructions and check products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Packing: Choose the correct box size, build boxes, and pack items securely using packing materials as needed.
• Inventory Transfers: Move products between warehouse areas as directed to support daily operations.
• Scanning & Shipping: Scan items to confirm order accuracy, record weights and measurements, print labels and paperwork, and prepare orders for carrier pickup.
• Organization & Cleaning: Keep storage areas, aisles, and workstations clean, safe, and organized; assist with general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, trash removal, floor cleaning, and cardboard recycling.
Flexibility & Team Support:
• Help with other tasks as needed to support daily warehouse operations.
• May occasionally help at another warehouse location (Moreland or Tapo) for a short time, with advance notice whenever possible.
Requirements
