Harmonic Movement Therapies is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team in Oswego, Illinois. Located in the heart of Oswego, Harmonic Movement Therapies is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility dedicated to providing exceptional physical therapy services. Our mission is to empower individuals through evidence-based treatments and interventions. With a commitment to quality care, we accept a variety of private health insurance providers, ensuring our patients have access to the services they need to regain their strength and mobility. Our facility boasts 5,000 square feet of innovative space designed specifically for athletic and rehabilitative therapies.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite in our welcoming outpatient office from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of an engaged team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, fostering a collaborative atmosphere focused on superior patient care. The environment is designed to facilitate healing and collaboration, featuring advanced rehabilitation equipment suitable for a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Harmonic Movement Therapies, you will:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs, setting goals tailored to each individual's recovery journey.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques to address the unique circumstances of orthopedic outpatient care, ensuring quality rehabilitation.
  • Develop personalized care plans that reflect the latest research and best practices, aiming to enhance the patient’s mobility and comfort.
  • Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring each patient receives focused attention and high-quality care.
  • Encourage and motivate patients to engage fully during their recovery process, aiming for optimal physical performance and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Coordinate care with other medical professionals to provide a holistic approach to each patient’s rehabilitation needs.
  • Analyze treatment outcomes, reflecting on successes and areas for improvement to continuously enhance care quality.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including athletes and active individuals looking to regain their physical capabilities. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating a supportive environment that fosters independence and wellness.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • A valid state Physical Therapist License with no pending disciplinary actions or board issues.
