Fueling Success in this Role:
VP Racing is seeking a full-time on-site Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Texas Plant location located in Elmendorf, Texas. The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the organization's human resources functions and ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies. This position partners with management and employees to provide guidance on HR programs, employee relations, payroll administration, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance management, safety, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. This position will be at a warehouse environment and will have to abide by all safety regulations.
What You'll Do:
  • Administer payroll and maintain employee records throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
  • Coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verification.
  • Administer benefits, leave programs, and other HR-related services.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and policy enforcement.
  • Support performance management, compensation, and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain HR records, conduct audits, and prepare HR-related reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. In addition, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise.   • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field and at least three (3) years of human resources experience a in payroll administration, employee relations, recruiting, and benefits administration, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed to support business operations. Travel may include up to 25% of work time, depending on business needs
  • Manufacturing experience highly preferred
