Job Description

Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 depending upon skills, experience and certifications!

The Motorcycle Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service maintenance of motorcycles and ATVs, while following Company guidelines and procedures.

  1. Diagnose, repair and service motorcycles and ATVs systems and components.
  2. Completes warrantied repairs to manufacturer specifications.
  3. Completes all routine maintenance.
  4. Troubleshoots problems with electrical system, engines, brakes, transmissions, etc.
  5. Communicates timeframe for repairs and service needed with Service Advisor.
  6. Install new parts as needed.
  7. Repairs components as needed.
  8. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to:

  • Create a safe work environment where everyone is treated with dignity, compassion and respect.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose root of problem.
  • Ability to identify proper tools and equipment needed for repairs.
  • Willing and able to communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding the status of repair orders.
  • Highly professional, organized, and dependable.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including Saturday.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions and meet goals.
  • Maintain and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years related technician experience in the powersports industry required.
  • Formal training in motorcycle mechanics program highly preferred.
  • Factory certified from Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki, Suzuki highly preferred.
  • Unrestricted valid Florida driver license with motorcycle endorsement required.
  • Clean driving record
  • ASE certifications preferred
