The Motorcycle Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service maintenance of motorcycles and ATVs, while following Company guidelines and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and service motorcycles and ATVs systems and components
- Completes warrantied repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Completes all routine maintenance
- Troubleshoots problems with electrical system, engines, brakes, transmissions, etc
- Communicates timeframe for repairs and service needed with Service Advisor
- Install new parts as needed
- Repairs components as needed
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose root of problem
- Ability to identify proper tools and equipment needed for repairs
- Willing and able to communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding the status of repair orders
- Highly professional, organized, and dependable
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including Saturday
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions and meet goals
- Maintain and uphold safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years related technician experience in the powersports industry required.
- Formal training in motorcycle mechanics program highly preferred.
- Factory certified from Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki, Suzuki highly preferred.
- Unrestricted valid Florida driver license with motorcycle endorsement required.
- Clean driving record
- ASE certifications preferred
- Excellent work history
- Excellent customer service skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
Group Benefits eligibility for full-time associates is 1st of month after 60 days. The plan includes:
Subsidized Health Insurance with eligibility the first of the month following 60 days of service
