Rapid and sustained growth has us seeking a Field Service Technician to be a part of our Technical Support team.Our work environment includes:Growth opportunitiesWellness programsTraining and support Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to work in the Southern California region.Responsibilities:Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations throughout a specified regionReceive a briefing from fellow Technical Support associates before the customer visit. This will include any action or troubleshooting activities already taken with the customer to address their needsTools and instruments provided Qualifications:Related service technician experience of two through five years or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC/HMI driven motion controlAbility to effectively communicate with the customer and professionally represent the company is a critical requirementKnowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshootingKnowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plusMust possess above-average computer skills and be able to use Windows and other software packages such as Salesforce Lightning Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offDental insurance401(k) and 401(k) matchingVision insuranceLife insuranceFlexible spending accountEmployee assistance program Schedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayOvernight travel will be 50 - 75% depending on your base of operation License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)
