This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing you flexibility in managing your schedule while providing vital telehealth services. • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and empower clients to achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group sessions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling clients to process their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and promote personal healing.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate integrated care for each client, ensuring comprehensive support.
• Provide crisis intervention and support in urgent situations, assisting clients through trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and relevant resources to enhance understanding and recovery efforts.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to comply with applicable legal and ethical standards, contributing to the high-quality care we promise to our clients.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to improve the collective expertise in trauma-informed care and promote professional growth.
• Stay informed of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest standard of care.

This position primarily focuses on serving individuals who have experienced trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and other dissociative disorders. Our clients often face significant barriers and require trauma-informed approaches that not only address their mental health needs but also empower them towards recovery and resilience.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques.
• Proficient communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment, utilizing technology to facilitate therapy.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused therapies.
• Demonstrated experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.
• A proactive approach to collaboration, enhancing the multi-disciplinary team's efforts in providing holistic care.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the applicant.
