Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
SASSO is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our Creative team and help bring smart, strategic, and visually compelling ideas to life across a wide range of client and agency projects.

In this role, you will be part of the full creative process, bringing ideas to life through brainstorming, concept development, design execution, production, team collaboration, and client-facing presentations. As a Graphic Designer at SASSO, you will help concept and create work across print, digital, social, web, advertising, presentations, campaign materials, and integrated brand experiences.

The right candidate should be able to think strategically, design beautifully, move quickly, and adapt their style across different brands, industries, audiences, and channels. You will work closely with the Creative, Account, Strategy, Social, Digital, Media, and Production teams to develop design solutions that are on brand, on brief, on time, and aligned with client goals.

We are also looking for someone who is curious about where design is going. This role requires a growth mindset and a willingness to embrace emerging technologies, including modern AI tools and workflows that can support concept development, design exploration, production efficiency, and creative problem-solving while maintaining strong standards for originality, quality, discernment and brand integrity.

Education and Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably in agency, creative studio, or brand environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Advertising, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design craft, brand thinking, campaign work, and creative execution across multiple channels.
  • Experience designing for print, social, digital, web, advertising, interactive, mobile, presentation, and campaign materials.
  • Ability to work within brand standards while adapting design style to different clients, industries, audiences, and project needs.
  • Illustration, drawing, motion, video, or photography-related experience preferred.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, composition, color, imagery, and visual systems.
  • Proficiency in a Mac environment and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related design tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and presentation-building tools.
  • Working knowledge of digital, social, print, advertising, web, and production design requirements.
  • Ability to prepare clean, organized, production-ready files for vendors, printers, digital deployment, and internal use.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn AI-enabled creative tools, design automation tools, image generation/editing platforms, and emerging creative software.

Creative Design & Execution

  • Develop original design work across brand, campaign, print, digital, social, web, advertising, presentation, and multimedia projects.
  • Translate creative briefs, client objectives, brand standards, and audience insights into clear, compelling visual solutions.
  • Design materials including branding elements, layouts, illustrations, infographics, ads, social graphics, digital assets, print collateral, and campaign materials.
  • Adapt design style and visual approach across different industries, audiences, brand personalities, and communication needs.

Brand Consistency & Quality Control

  • Maintain brand consistency across client marketing, advertising, and communications materials.
  • Review, proof, edit, revise, and refine design work to ensure accuracy, clarity, quality, and alignment with project requirements.
  • Maintain high standards for craft, detail, visual polish, and communication effectiveness before work is shared internally or released to clients.
  • Proof all work carefully for spelling, grammar, layout, formatting, accuracy, and brand consistency.


Concept Development & Strategic Thinking

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Work collaboratively with Creative, Account, Strategy, Social, Digital, Media, and Production teams to deliver work that is on brief, on brand, and on time.
  • Self-manage assigned design projects from concept through completion while communicating project status, needs, risks, and timing clearly.
  • Participate in internal reviews, creative feedback sessions, project meetings, and client presentations as needed.
  • Work closely with printers, production vendors, photographers, videographers, and other partners to support quality execution.

Production & Presentation Support

  • Prepare design files for print, digital, social, web, advertising, presentation, and production use according to project specifications.
  • Support production needs including print preparation, vendor coordination, press checks, photography shoots, video shoots, and asset delivery
  • Ensure final files are organized, accurate, properly formatted, and ready for production or deployment.
  • Assist with presentation development, visual storytelling, and design support for client meetings or pitches.

AI, Technology & Creative Workflow

  • Use AI tools thoughtfully and responsibly to support concept development, visual exploration, content adaptation, design variation, research, and workflow efficiency.
  • Integrate modern AI tools and workflows into design software, creative systems, production processes, and day-to-day project execution where appropriate.
  • Stay current on emerging creative technologies, AI-enabled design platforms, production tools, and software updates that can improve creative quality and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, experimentation, and a growth mindset in adopting new tools, methods, and creative workflows.
