Job description

Job Summary:
Performs assembly of sub-assemblies and inspection systems containing electronic, mechanical and inspection components by following work instructions, production drawings to required quality standard in line with the planned production schedule
Essential Functions:
  • Sub-assembly and system assembly in line with Quality ISO 9001 procedures
  • Contribute towards achieving the daily production plan.
  • Follow work instructions & process sheets & communicate any deficiencies/ ambiguities in either to your line manager(supervisor)
  • Maintain the working standards in line with operational organisation and the 5S policies.
  • Ensure that all relevant Health & Safety policies and procedures are observed.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as required by the business.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. A high level of attention to detail.
  2. Excellent manual dexterity.
  3. Basic understanding of Electrical principals
  4. A flexible and proactive approach.
  5. The ability to respond to changes in demand and meet deadlines.
  6. The ability to produce assemblies following work instructions and to self-check
  7. own work.
  8. Ability to use electrical test equipment for example multi meters.
  9. Able to work in a fast-paced, lean environment.
  10. Experience in computer-based material control/business systems and excellent team skills.
  11. Highly organized, accurate and disciplined in maintaining an orderly work area.
  12. Ability to apply the principals of the 5 "S" methodology.

Minimum education and work experience required:
  1. Good hand/eye coordination and mechanical/electrical aptitude
  2. Must be able to distinguish colors.
  3. Ability to work with computer-based systems for data entry
  4. High school diploma or equivalent
  5. Proficient in reading and writing in English
  6. Minimum of two years related experience
