Job Description

Job Required Education/Experience 

6 to 10 year of working knowledge of enterprise web applications, systems and hands-on experience and expert knowledge of Java enterprise development. 

5+ years of professional IT experience in a large organization with complex, multi-tiered solutions, Web portals, hosted environments, and mid-range platforms 

Expert knowledge of JEE-compliant application servers (WebSphere is preferred) 

Excellent working experience with Spring, Hibernate, Maven, and other frameworks 

Advanced knowledge of web service technologies such as JAX-RS, JSON, JAXB, JAX-WS, and WSDL 

Spring MVC and implementing RESTFul services using Spring is a significant plus. 

Strong knowledge of highly efficient RDBMS SQL (e.g., DB2 and Oracle) 

Ability to coach and mentor junior developers as well as teams adopting the platforms. 

Strong knowledge of Technical Design Document and continuous integration (CI) 

Passion for collaboration, Agile teams, and great customer service 

Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Middleware engineering in the following technologies: 

Websphere Application Server (WAS) 

IBM HTTP Server 

Must exhibit strong troubleshooting skills and ability to methodically identify research and resolve complex issues in web environment. 

Understanding of SDLC promotion process
