Role Basics
This entry-level Recruiter role supports a centralized sourcing team, an agile recruiting workforce designed to scale ahead of peak hiring periods. Recruiters will be deployed dynamically across multiple business groups within Stores and Operations, enabling rapid response to shifting hiring demand.
Role is 100% onsite (M-F, 8-5pm) in Seattle, WA and is a great foot in the door with one of the largest tech companies based in Seattle.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver top-of-funnel sourcing support for high-volume hiring
• Source and engage passive candidates across a range of roles and job families
• Quickly interpret role profiles and begin delivering qualified talent
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens
• Prepare candidates for assessments and next-step interviews
• Maintain activity, pipeline, and delivery reporting
• Partner closely with recruiting peers and centralized leadership
• Pivot quickly between requisitions and business needs as priorities change
Essential Skills
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in recruiting or a closely related field, with exposure to technical or high-volume environments.
  • 1-2 years of minimum experience in technical recruiting in a high-volume setting, or significantly more experience (such as 6 years) if lacking direct high-volume technical recruiting experience.
  • Proven experience in high-volume sourcing and talent acquisition, particularly for technical roles.
  • Demonstrated recruiting experience within the technology industry.
  • Strong sourcing skills with the ability to identify and attract talent for cloud, infrastructure, and engineering roles.
  • Comfort working in a goal-driven environment, meeting targets related to sourcing volume, phone screens, and interviews.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and full-cycle recruiting processes.
  • Ability to conduct structured phone screens and schedule a high volume of calls and interviews each week.
  • Experience working under immediate supervision, following instructions and pre-established guidelines.
  • Knowledge of commonly used recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to hold frequent conversations with candidates and hiring managers.

  • Experience in the technology industry, especially cloud or infrastructure services, is desirable.
  • Experience using Boolean search techniques to identify candidates is an advantage.
  • Prior success recruiting for large-scale or high-demand hiring initiatives is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated alignment with leadership principles such as learning and being curious, taking ownership, bias for action, and delivering results.
  • Experience working as part of a large or complex recruiting organization is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt quickly during a structured ramp-up period and take on new tasks as you are certified to perform them.

Contract Length
52-week contract to potential (conversion or extension possibilities) based on performance, budget, and headcount needs.
Work Environment
The role supports recruiting for cloud and infrastructure services, including data centers and engineering functions, within a fast-paced, high-demand technology environment. You will work in a mix of collaborative and individual settings, with dedicated desk time for sourcing and outreach as well as frequent interactions with hiring managers and candidates. The team culture emphasizes collaboration, open dialogue, and shared learning, and encourages team members to have fun while achieving goals. You will engage with two main customer groups: internal business stakeholders (hiring managers and lead recruiters) and external candidates, primarily through email, virtual communication, and phone conversations. The environment is strongly goal-driven and metrics-focused, with expectations around high-volume sourcing, scheduled phone screens, and a steady flow of interviews.
