Job description

Are you a proactive Demand Planner who knows how to turn sales history, trends and seasonality into an accurate forecast?
We're partnering with a growing food manufacturing company in Schaumburg, IL that is looking to add a new Demand Planner to its supply chain team. The team is looking for someone who can take ownership of the forecast, identify potential issues before they reach Supply Planning and confidently partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using Blue Yonder
  • Analyze historical sales data, trends and seasonality using statistical forecasting methods
  • Monitor forecasts against actual sales and adjust based on changing business needs
  • Proactively identify demand and supply risks before they impact the Supply Planning team
  • Partner closely with the Demand Planning Manager and cross-functional business teams
  • Build and maintain Excel reports to track forecast accuracy and support decision-making
  • Use PivotTables, VLOOKUPs and macros to analyze and communicate demand trends

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of planning experience
  • 2+ years in demand planning or forecasting experience within food, CPG, manufacturing or a related environment
  • Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder
  • Strong understanding of statistical forecasting, trends and seasonality
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs and macros
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative without waiting for direction
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Hybrid schedule in Schaumburg, IL (3 days per week)
  • $90K - $100K compensation
