Auburn Village has an immediate openings for a Housekeeper at our Auburn Village facility in Auburn, Indiana. The position available is Full-Time (Non-Exempt), during week and every other weekend with an 8-hour shift 7:30a-4:00p.

Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

  • Clean resident, staff and visitor areas of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing as directed
  • Replenish supply of soap and towels in appropriate receptacles
  • Monitor the care and use of supplies, cleaning equipment and the appearance of laundry areas

  • Housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • Housekeeping experience in healthcare environment is a plus
  • High school graduate
  • Experience in a Long-Term Care facility preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Personable and professional demeanor
  • Must be punctual and friendly
  • Must have passion to work with elderly residents
  • Must be compassionate, understanding and tolerant of older adults
