The Physical Therapy Assistant (Outpatient\Inpatient) works under the supervision of leadership and treats patients in a variety of modalities, educate the family/patient, and assures continuity of treatment. Responsible for all necessary documentation as required by accepted medical guidelines.

- Treats patients using a variety of modalities and procedures under treatment plan formulated by a Registered Physical Therapist.
- Provides patient/family education.
- Documents patients' response to treatment program, communicates with providers, Physical Therapist, and other interdisciplinary team members, and inputs charges as appropriate.
- Participates in staff meetings, family conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings, as appropriate.
- Participates in continual process improvement.

Education- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program. - Required
Work ExperienceLicenses and Certifications- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Licensed in state of Missouri. - Required within 60 Days Or
- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Compact State License - Required Upon Hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required Upon Hire
Travel Requirements- Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed. - Required
