Atlanta, GA | Contract to Hire

A respected financial institution is seeking an experienced Residential Mortgage Loan Processor to join its mortgage operations team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience managing residential mortgage files from application through closing.

Responsibilities

  • Review mortgage loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Verify borrower income, assets, liabilities, employment, and credit information
  • Collect outstanding conditions and coordinate files for final underwriting approval
  • Partner with loan officers, underwriters, appraisers, and borrowers to ensure smooth closings
  • Communicate loan status updates and resolve processing issues proactively
  • Ensure compliance with lending guidelines, investor requirements, and state/federal regulations
  • Process conventional, FHA, VA, and self-employed borrower loans with accuracy and efficiency
